The mission of the
CDA is to improve the deer herds and habitat here in California and to
educate the public of the wise use of this valuable, renewable
resource. 75% of all net funds go towards this mission. CDA allocated
nearly 1/4 million dollars in 2001, 2002, 2003, $300,000 in 2004,
$400,000 in 2005, and preliminary numbers for 2006 may reach 1/2
Million for the project account. These critical funds (over 2 million)
when combined with matching project figures ultimately equate to
millions of dollars spent for the benefit of wildlife and sportsmen
here in California. |
